Dhal Chutney

Posted on Updated on

MMM…tried another new chutney..

Recipe Resource : Mallika Badrinath’s “Samayal Samayal”

Ingredients:
Channa Dal – 1/2 cup
Garlic – 4 cloves
Red chilli – 2/3

Method:

1.Dry roast The channa dal n the red chillies until the Dhal turns golden brown.

2. Allow to cool, add the garlic n required salt n coarse grind.

3. Goes well with Idli,Dosa n with Rice as well! The original recipe required 6 cloves of garlic..But my Hubby found it too strong..so i suggest to add 4 only as mentioned above!!
